What we've been up to

We're Andy and Jo, we are the founders of Seriously Low Carb and we're excited, nervous and a little bit petrified of taking on the challenge of running the London Marathon for a charity that is super close to our hearts and those of our customers.

Jo has Type 2 Diabetes in her family, and at the age of 32 she was told that she was pre-diabetic. Juggling a very stressful job at the time, she lived off caffeine, sugar and carbs because it was the food that was quick and easy to grab. Jo knew she needed to make changes. This led Jo to a lower carb, higher protein way of eating, and to triathlon. Both helped her health and wellbeing enormously, but she found it a real struggle to reduce her carb intake.

Jo's mission now at Seriously Low Carb is to replace all those carb-based foods that she loves, with a Seriously Low Carb option, which tastes just as good. So that there are genuinely delicious alternatives for all those Type 2 Diabetics like her mum, and all those people who are working to avoid Type 2 Diabetes themselves, like her. Jo is so passionate about helping those people with Diabetes, she is also an ambassador of Diabetes UK.
